Today, transfer to Knysna. Your odyssey down the beautiful Garden Route begins! Enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery to Wilderness and Knysna.

Oudtshoorn’s famous Cango Caves can be explored on a guided tour (all guides are accredited) and is one of Africa’s most spectacular natural formations with vast caverns, beautiful, delicate and sometimes majestic stalagmites and stalactites and dripstone caverns. Some of these formations have quirky names that include 'glass flower fantasy' and 'weird cango candle'. The Cango Caves have been formed over millions of years to create this enchanting subterranean world. 

The Bloukrans Bungy is the world’s highest commercial bungy bridge, it also boasts being the highest commercial natural bungy jump in the world. It is a sought after South African adventure experience and has attracted even the most famous adrenaline junkies from Prince Harry to Kelly Slater. The bridge is on the border of the Western and Eastern Cape and is 216 metres and you plunge yourself into the gorge below. This is not for the faint of heart but with a one hundred percent safety record, it is a tick off the bucket list even for the most timid. The jump is in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas and provides spectacular scenery while you get the adrenaline pumping. 

Today is free for you at Knysna. You can spend the time going around the Garden Route and exploring its beauty or relax at the resort.

This morning, transfer from Knysna to the airport in George for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Later see the historical highlights of Johannesburg on this comprehensive 3.5-hour sightseeing tour! Begin with a pickup at your hotel in either Rosebank or Sandton. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Proceed to visit the Gold Reef City (closed on MON and TUE). A popular attraction, Gold Reef City, is located just south of the city centre. It was built to replicate an old mining town. Walk through the original homes of the miners, watch a gold bar being poured and then descend into the depths of a real gold mine where you can browse through the charming reconstruction of Johannesburg circa 1888. Its latest attraction is a giant Ferris wheel, allowing panoramic views of Johannesburg.

Check-out from your hotel in the morning. Today, you will be transferred to the airport in Johannesburg for your flight back home.
